Founder and
Chief Creative Officer of Eevolver Inc.
Dan has created icons for a variety of brands
such as the Polar Bears for Coke, The Gecko for
Geico and Match Light. Dan has served as the
Senior Creative Director for Rhythm & Hues,
for over sixteen years. He was responsible for
the overall quality control of the studio. Mr.
Quarnstrom was the designer of the Coca-Cola
Polar Bears.
As a director and designer, Mr.
Quarnstrom's experience ranges from illustration
and production design to computer animation.
He has won numerous awards including Imagina
(Monte Carlo) for his work on “The Futuristic
World of Hanna Barbera,” a theme park ride
for Universal Studios in Florida as well as
having been the Co-Director for the Circle
Vision film “Le
Visionarium” at Euro Disneyland. Mr. Quarnstrom
has directed award winning commercials such
as spots for the Coca-Cola “Polar Bear” series,
Reebok, Kodak, and Clio-Award winning spots
for Match Light Charcoal. In addition, Mr.
Quarnstrom was the co-creator and Director
of Rhythm & Hues
first video game, "Eggs of Steel."
Mr. Quarnstrom's
work in computer graphics began in the
mid-seventies when he worked for Robert Abel & Associates
as a designer for projects as Hawaiian
Punch's “Chain
Reaction” television commercial and Steven
Spielberg's "Amazing
Stories." In addition to his
duties at Rhythm & Hues Studios, Mr.
Quarnstrom has taught 3D visualization
skills and perspective at Otis/Parsons
School of Design. |
